Hi! I'm Kenzie, and welcome to Kitschy Notions, an independent, woman-owned fabric, notions, and fiber arts shop based in Oregon.

I kept hunting for fun, colorful fabric, and if something was cute, it was made of polyester. So I tripped and fell and opened up a fabric shop. Eco-conscious sewing for dopamine dressers, design enthusiasts, and modern makers.

We focus on natural fibers like cotton and linen, and we care about good design, how things are made, and who gets to use them. Supporting small businesses and independent artists matters to us, and so does making room for more people in sewing and fiber arts. As we grow, I want to keep adding ergonomic, adaptive tools and patterns for all bodies, genders, and stages of life.

Worried about ordering from a shop you've never heard of? Same! I've been open since June, with a small but mighty stream of customers. We just set up reviews, and we've been quiet about advertising until now. If you're unsure about anything, from size to color to whether this is a legit site, please reach out! I want picking fabric to feel like the fun part, not homework. If you can't find something, tell me and I'll help you look.

It's just me, myself, and occasionally my husband packing orders, usually within one to two business days. Local to Eugene/Springfield? Email me before you place your order and I'm happy to set up local pickup, so we both skip the shipping.
