Kits, and what is inside them
Every kit listing names the materials and tools included and anything you need to supply yourself, such as scissors, water or a heat source. Skill level is listed when the maker states one.
Good to know before you order
- Paint listings state the medium and, where the maker publishes it, lightfastness and pigment information.
- Paper is listed with weight and sheet size so you can match it to wet or dry media.
- Colors can read differently on screen. Tell us the shade you are matching and we will describe it against something you already own.
Questions people ask
- Are craft kits suitable for beginners?
- Many are. Each kit listing states the skill level the maker assigns and lists what is included, so you can see whether instructions and all materials are in the box before ordering.
- What paper should I use for watercolor?
- Choose a heavier weight, usually 140 lb or 300 gsm and above, so the sheet does not buckle when wet. Lighter drawing paper is better suited to pencil, pen and marker.
- Do you sell single supplies as well as kits?
- Yes. Paint, mediums, brushes, drawing materials and paper goods are all sold individually if you are restocking one part of a project.
