What does Designed by us mean?

These are Kitschy Notions originals, not third-party designer collections we stock from elsewhere. We draw the repeat, set the colorway, and choose the base fabric.

Do you sell original, in-house designed fabric?

Yes. This basket is entirely our own designed fabric: original prints created by Kitschy Notions, printed on fabric, and cut by the yard. Everything else in the shop is selected from mills and designers and labeled as theirs.

Are these exclusive prints?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our original prints are exclusive to Kitschy Notions. We don't wholesale them, so you won't find the same print in another shop's assortment. Print runs are small, and a sold-through colorway may not return.

Question 4

Do you offer custom printed fabric by the yard?

Accepted Answer

We print our own designs and sell them by the yard. We don't print customer artwork on demand. If you want a particular subject, scale, or colorway from us, send a request. Customer requests help inform future prints.

Question 5

What fabric are the original prints printed on?

Accepted Answer

Cottons and natural-fiber bases chosen for hand and durability, with the fiber content, width, and care listed on each product page exactly as they are for the rest of our yardage.

Question 6

Do you cut fabric continuously?

Accepted Answer

When inventory allows, multiple yards of the same fabric ship as one continuous cut. Unit and cutting rules are on each product page.
