Dawn Swathe in Ink Cotton Poplin

Dawn Swathe in Ink is a flowing field of grass and flowers at daybreak: inky black blades tumble and swirl around bold red poppies, pink blooms, and green stems on a white ground. At the Classic scale, the red poppies measure about 8 cm (3.1 in) across, a balanced size that works for a gathered skirt as easily as a camp-collar shirt. The poplin base has a fine, tight weave and a crisp hand, so it holds pressed edges, collars, and gathers neatly while staying light enough for warm-weather clothes. Designed by an independent Australian artist and printed on an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified base of 100% cotton.

This cotton poplin is a great choice for button-up shirts, gathered skirts, shirtdresses, blouses, and lightweight accessories. For close-fitting garments, we recommend a fabric with stretch, such as cotton jersey or French terry.
